Kapellbrücke

The Kapellbrücke is the town’s landmark. It’s the second largest and oldest covered woodbridge. The bridge connects New and Old town over the Lake Lucerne bay. The famous water tower make up for a world-class scenery. Inside the bridge is equipped with a cycle of painting showing Swiss history and advertising mercenarism.

Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Luzern (KKL)

The Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Luzern – abreviated KKL – is an astonishing building by French architect Jean Nouvel. Located right at the Lake Lucerne bay, the multifunctional building offers space for congresses and hosts a great culinary offer.

The concert auditorium is seen as one of the best auditorium in the world for classic concerts due to it’s overwhelming acoustics. In August the auditorium is booked for the Lucerne Festival, a tryst of the best philharmonic orchestras in the world.
